This article analyzes the processes of hegemonic incorporation of indigenous demands, focusing on the case of the Argentine province of Formosa from 1983 to 1987. The text analyzes interviews, documentary sources and newspaper archives to answer questions about how the state interpellates native peoples and the contracts of political subjectivation established at that time.
