Abstract

MENESES, María Elena  and  PEREZ SALAZAR, Gabriel. The Internet and Information Society, what and how it has been studied in Mexico. A look from the AMIC. Comun. soc [online]. 2016, n.26, pp.43-70. ISSN 0188-252X.

The article identifies objects of study, theories and methods utilized by Mexican researchers regarding the Internet and Information Society. Tendencies on the main approaches and the pending research agenda are systematized and established. The contents of 101 presentations from 94 authors from five National Congresses of the AMIC from 2010 to 2014 are analyzed.
