Abstract

KLEIN, Alejandro. Paradigms in old age: Cinematographic homogenization and transitions. Comun. soc [online]. 2016, n.26, pp.201-221. ISSN 0188-252X.

The objective of this article is to attempt to approximate and paradigmatically understand what the approach of cinema is -as a phenomeno that creates and reproduces political and social messages- to old age and the concept of aging, taking into special consideration that the world is in a stage of an "aging population". Two groups of paradigms are outlined, taking into consideration the increasingly imposed divergence on ideological standardization.

Keywords : Films; aging; paradigms; diversity; homogenization.
