Abstract

CAJERO VAZQUEZ, Antonio. Gilberto Owen in the review Estampa (Bogotá 1938-1942): unknown texts. Lit. mex [online]. 2011, vol.22, n.2, pp.101-119. ISSN 2448-8216.

In this article, I reconstruct Gilberto Owen's participation in the Colombian magazine Estampa, on the one hand; on the other, I comment partnerships signed by Owen in this publication, yet often unknown, and several texts that may well have been written by the then editor of Estampa and Estampa en la Guerra. Until recently, there was only speculation about Owen's adventures in Colombia; today, this research will contribute to complete his stay in South America: namely, the years from 1938 to 1942. This year, the author of Perseo vencido returns after 14 years of living abroad, to Mexico, the "Bagdad olvidadiza."

Keywords : Gilberto Owen; Estampa; Colombia; editor; collaborations.
