Abstract

Erosion is a problem that affects the pastures of Sonora due to its exploitation and the aridity of the region. The production of bovine cattle and the extraction of non-wood products are the activities that are contributing to the worsening of erosion, thus affecting its productivity and causing environmental damage that is difficult to revert. The purpose of this work is to find ways to stop and reverse the process of erosion of these cattle lands. The article begins by presenting the factors that brings into consideration how the soil as a not renewable resource. Following there will be further information about the growing deterioration of the soils in Sonora and finally present components that support the use of the sustainable soils.
