Abstract

SANCHEZ CORREA, Luis Manuel; ARROYO MARTINEZ, Simona  and  AVALOS PELAYO, Rafael. Acta univ [online]. 2021, vol.31, e2915.  Epub Feb 16, 2022. ISSN 2007-9621.  https://doi.org/10.15174/au.2021.2915.

Nowadays, companies in the vertical construction sector are trying to find mechanisms to innovate their processes and products to satisfy the demands of the current real estate market. The implementation of administrative innovation in organizations becomes an important strategy to trigger changes in companies. The objective of this research is to design and validate an instrument that allows to evaluate administrative innovation in companies dedicated to develop vertical buildings. A quantitative, non-experimental, correlational-causal method was used, where an instrument was applied to a representative sample of 79 people from the vertical construction industry in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Results showed an instrument with satisfactory reliability and an acceptable factor analysis, which means that the proposed model explains administrative innovation through total quality management and organizational climate.

Keywords : Administrative innovation; organizational climate; total quality management.
