Abstract

CARDENAS MEJIA, Luz Gloria. For a Constitution of the Human Experience of Place: Hermeneutics, Rhetoric, and Passions. Tópicos (México) [online]. 2016, n.50, pp.151-175. ISSN 0188-6649.

Most philosophers, working on phenomenology and hermeneutics have wondered about the constitution of the human experience of space. But only recently, some of them recognize the difference between space and place, as is the case of Augustin Berque. This article aims to examine, from the path opened by Paul Ricoeur, the establishment of the human experience of place from the effects of rhetorical speeches and its arguments of the emotions on the listeners and the community in general.

Keywords : place; experience; passions; rhetorics.
