Abstract
VALENTI NIGRINI, Giovanna and BRISENO FABIAN, Laura Patricia. Interaction rituals for understanding effectiveness schools. A case study in Mexico. Perf. latinoam. [online]. 2020, vol.28, n.56, pp.299-323. Epub Aug 30, 2021. ISSN 0188-7653. https://doi.org/10.18504/pl2856-012-2020.
The theoretical approach to effective schools highlights their importance in reducing school inequities, especially with positive results in disadvantaged social contexts. This research seeks to understand the values and attitudes that become successful school practices, those that generate collective synergies among school agents and feelings of belonging. From the interaction rituals perspective, findings show a constant amongst teachers, they feel proud and excited about their student’s achievement, and they have a shared satisfaction of being able to provide additional support to underachieving students.
