Abstract

The traditional infantile songs are still effective in our days, although some of them have a distant origin, its diffusion has been extended partly through modern mass media. They pedagogically constitute a source of endoculturación in children, used in the schools, like distraction in the family and reproduced through the record industry. Nevertheless, in spite of their importance, their messages and meaning have not been analyzed to date. That is the objective of this article, centering the study on the images of men and women and the relations of gender that are transported by the letters of the songs introduced in childhood.
