Abstract

The following article has the objective of analyzing a look that, in both representation and documental print of the reality it captures, contributes to construct and/or reproduce imaginaries about societal processes that surround us and opens windows which allow us to view them through different eyes. The idea is to recover some of the photographic records from the opening of the Caracoles in august of 2003 and, according to the iconicity and textuality associated to them, identify fragments of the narrative that have been developed around the zapatist movement.
