Abstract

WALDMAN MITNICK, Gilda. La historia en primera persona: mirada(s) al pasado. Polít. cult. [online]. 2014, n.41, pp.91-109. ISSN 0188-7742.

While History and Memory, as representations of the past, were mutually exclusive since the Illustration, the new historiographical trends have linked them. This text approaches a newer research model that is sustained by rigorous biblio-hemerographical and archive research, which intertwines not only with oral history, written memories, letters, photographs, artistic representations, newspaper articles, etc., but also with the experience of the investigator himself, who highlights the cognitive value of subjectivity. It is about Leo Spitzer's Hotel Bolivia, The Culture of Memory in a Refuge from Nazism.

Keywords : history; memory; experience; subjectivity; emigration.
