Epidural abscess is a rare but devastating condition, when is recognized and treated early the outcome is adequate. The review of the risk factors, pathogenesis, clinical features and outcome of this condition is appropriate, the aim being to make recommendations on anesthetic practice to minimize the risk of this serious complication.
