Abstract

ACOSTA-LUA, Alejandra  and  DURAN-COLIN, Anné Azriel. Intraperitoneal Ropivacaine for reducing postoperative omalgia in patients undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy. Rev. mex. anestesiol. [online]. 2019, vol.42, n.4, pp.292-295.  Epub Aug 23, 2021. ISSN 0484-7903.

Laparoscopic surgery causes a disturbance substantially less intense and prolonged compared to the corresponding open procedure, but having multiple advantages turn disadvantages, like the case of shoulder pain (omalgia). Given its high incidence and poor response to conventional treatments, it is proposed this multimodal approach to decrease the incidence and intensity.

Keywords : Laparoscopic surgery; omalgia; multimodal approach.
