Abstract
GIRAL BARNES, José. Contribuciones del exilio español a la química en México en el siglo XX. Rev. Soc. Quím. Méx [online]. 2001, vol.45, n.3, pp.120-122. ISSN 0583-7693.
The integration of Spanish exiles after the Spanish Civil War of 1936-1939 is one of the finest examples of integral humanism in the 20th century. It was not only a contribution of knowledge but beyond that a blending of professionals based on trust and ethics that, to this day, has not brought out any signs of abuse or deceit. For many reasons, the Spanish intelectuals merged first into education and from there emigrated into farmaceutical and chemical industry. The article analyzes the background of Spain in the first third of the century and recognizes the contributions of many individuals, generalizing on their ethical and humanistic principles.
