Abstract

This essay explains the mechanisms of capitalist social discipline that late Porfiriato operated in Mexico City. Mechanisms that laid hands several Mexico City newspapers to explain both to invent the representation of the efeminate from a raid by men who had allegedly nefarious practices; raid was conducted by police in downtown Mexico City in mid-1901. In this sense, look diferent newspapers with diferent ideological lines in order to observe that, unanimously, that representation was rated negatively.
