Abstract

The history of the Audiencia de Guadalajara in the Seventeenth Century was not centered on the legal or jurisdictional order, but on protocol and etiquette, since the ritual and protocol of the Hispanic monarchy was an aspiration to maintain harmony. Therefore, the importance of studying the conflicts arising from compliance with the order and pro tocol of said institution, since these conflicts reflect the government of the New Galicia kingdom of that time.
