Abstract

HERRERA CABALLERO, Juan Manuel  and  BERNAL DOMINGUEZ, Deyanira. On the Transference of Organizational Models. Gest. polít. pública [online]. 2014, vol.23, n.2, pp.331-357. ISSN 1405-1079.

When transferring organizational models, it is worth pondering about which elements have been properly addressed and which remain to be addressed. At the same time, we must take into consideration that instrumental reasoning spawns aspirations about order, control, and execution. Furthermore, we must also identify the existence of aspirations of symbolic, social, and or political nature. Such aspirations validate and guide the actions of the members within the organization. In this process, that seems to be driven by technology adoption, culture plays a crucial role. It is culture that enables the adoption of these new models.

Keywords : technology transfer; models; organization; culture; power; knowledge.
