Abstract
LEON Y RAMIREZ, Juan Carlos. La dimensión pública del buen gobierno: la administración ciudadana del quehacer colectivo. Convergencia [online]. 2009, vol.16, n.49, pp.277-289. ISSN 2448-5799.
This work explores the main trends of contemporary theoretical approximations to the concept gradually known as "the public government". This construction seeks to recover the unique public essence of civil society, the realm of the public space, and endorsed and supported by an array of arguments, starting with republicanism, good government, the new debates about conceptions of public space and active citizenship to land into the still unknown harbor, represented by ever complex relations between citizens, estate, government and public administration. The author argues about the challenges involved in the process of democratic consolidation in uncertain times of post-modernity and globalization; "liquidity" Bauman dixit. Consequent with this sort of arguments, the author derives some reflections on Mexico, and their implications on the contemporary discussion of the new trends related to the scientific study of Public Administration.
