Abstract

In this article we explore the main debates that have taken place in Rosario during the Second World War, about the nature, the kind, the future potential and the limits of the regional industrial development. We focus on the convergence of industrials businessmen, intellectuals and professionals. We deepen into two subjects: the historical issue of local port and the more recent demands on industrial credit.
