In order to do this, the activity rates of women have been rebuilt at an aggregate level, same with the three activity sectors of the economy: agriculture, industry and services. The work allows to see women’s participation in the labor market has not been a simple cumulative process, but rather is linked to the differential demand for labor on different economic sectors in the periods analyzed.
