Abstract

URIBE LEAL, Ricardo Antonio  and  LIZAMA PEREZ, Luis Adrian. Adjustment in Luminance and Color Spaces to Generate Contrasts Visible for People with Abnormal Trichromatic Color Blindness. Comp. y Sist. [online]. 2019, vol.23, n.4, pp.1191-1198.  Epub Aug 09, 2021. ISSN 2007-9737.  https://doi.org/10.13053/cys-23-4-2989.

The perception of color allows visibility in individuals but it is something relative to the subject and the ambient light surrounding it. Such a perception is given by two types of eye cells, cones and Canes. Deficiency in light uptake in some of these cells cause the colors to be perceived in different ways, from the absence of a color until the confusion between tonalities. In this article we present a method of luminance adjustment and color spaces to generate visible contrasts in people with trichrometic color blindness.

Keywords : Luminance; color space; abnormal trichromatic color blindness.
