Abstract

ELIZONDO HUERTA, Aurora; STIG CHRISTIANSEN, Anders  and  RUIZ AVILA, Dalia. Democracia y ética en la escuela secundaria. Estudio de caso. RMIE [online]. 2007, vol.12, n.32, pp.243-260. ISSN 1405-6666.

The research report presented here centers its analysis on a set of tensions identified by the notions of law, authority, justice, love, and democracy; such notions form a moral framework that young people use to make decisions of an ethical or moral nature. Identifying such notions will permit a delineation of work hypotheses that will aid in designing strategies for educational intervention-strategies that favor the development of an ethical/civic sense closer to the proposed ideal.

Keywords : democracy; ethics; secondary education; school involvement; Mexico.
