Abstract

PORRAS HERNANDEZ, Laura Helena; LOPEZ HERNANDEZ, Mariela  and  HUERTA ALVA, María Guadalupe. Integración de TIC al currículum de telesecundaria: Incidiendo en procesos del pensamiento desde el enfoque comunicativo funcional de la lengua. RMIE [online]. 2010, vol.15, n.45, pp.515-551. ISSN 1405-6666.

This article presents the results of a pilot study of a pedagogical strategy that integrates information and communication technologies into the Spanish curriculum in Telesecundaria schools. With a research/action/development methodology and in cooperation with teachers, the Authentic Writers strategy was constructed for teachers to use in rural and urban Telesecundaria schools in the state of Puebla. The comparison of pre- and post-tests showed statistically significant differences and an increase in the reflection process and intelligent use of information. Qualitative changes were also identified. The difference for processes of transfer to authentic situations was not significant. A discussion is made of the possible reasons behind these results; also addressed is the importance of teachers' roles in mediating and adapting a viable strategy for elementary education that can help increase the quality of learning.
