Abstract

CHIAPPE, Andrés  and  ROMERO, Roque Cediel. Conditions for the Implementation of M-learning in Secondary Education: A Colombian Case Study. RMIE [online]. 2018, vol.23, n.77, pp.459-481. ISSN 1405-6666.

This article shows the process and results of a mixed or multi-method case study on the implementation of mobile devices in a public institution of secondary education, in Colombia. The objective is to identify the conditions that favored or hindered the use of such tools. The results reveal the importance of synchronizing the conditions of favorability in order to overcome the institutional, curriculum, and cultural barriers to the use of mobile devices by students and teachers.
