Abstract

TEPALE CORTES, Julia María et al. Bullying at School among Youth: Psychoanalytical Analysis and Reflection. RMIE [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.90, pp.765-785.  Epub Oct 11, 2021. ISSN 1405-6666.

This article presents an analysis of the experiences of a group of young people who have been victims of bullying at school. The study is based on their self-perception, their family history, and their socio-scholastic context, from a psychoanalytical perspective. Six high school students participated in a semi-structured interview and a thematic apperception test. The findings indicate that the young people, upon occupying a place of devaluation, complacency, and vulnerability in the family, are more apt to maintain that condition among their peers at school and in their dating relationships. They do not speak of the aggressions received and a law of silence prevails.

Keywords : bullying at school; youth; subjectivity.
