Labor migration to the coffee country houses between mam indians has been practicing through this century. Last ten years, Pavencul, a comunity located at Sierra Madre de Chiapas, diversified its migration destinies inside the country and United States of America. This survey was conducted to identify a migration patterns, first the magnitude of labor migration by a community census; after, we apply an instrument for gathering data that included economic and social variables. Several interviews were done to support quantitative data. Results shown that labor migration keeping at present time for mam indians and community, as a surviving strategy.
