This article focuses on the main findings of a qualitative research on men from two different socioeconomic and generational contexts in Mexico city. The objective of the study is to highlight the relationship between the significant fertility changes in Mexico and the transformations in male attitudes towards their own reproduction. The article analyzes men's perceptions and opinions concerning the beginning of procreation, desired family size, use of contraception as well as communication between partners on these main issues.
