Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the effects of the aging of population on the needs of urban equipment (schools, hospitals, parks, etc.) in order to offer recommendations to meet the challenges posed by this phenomenon. Also, the aim of this work is to help bring a line of research related to gerontological urbanism. The case study is the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico.
