Abstract

Due aging of the population, the old people become subjects of study, because of the lack of care and the creation of appropriate public politics aimed to this age group might cause in the future social, cultural, economic, etc problems, that we need to anticipate since right now. In this sense come out preponderant observe if public politics concern aging people in relation to the social security in the Mexico State, are covering the needs of the people that are sixty years old and over, which are the programs that contribute to social stability and benefit their medical care. The article pretends to show and analyze the actual conditions of this population group regarding social security (since the entitled that people have to a health institution and the receipt of pension), as well as focus in those who have, in which conditions and what are the most important needs that people claim to be cover.
