Abstract

MOCTEZUMA L., Miguel. Return migrants to Mexico: Its conceptual reformulation. Pap. poblac [online]. 2013, vol.19, n.77, pp.149-175. ISSN 2448-7147.

Four characteristics are that identify the return to México of new migrants: in 2000 the return of migrants was a flow formed by retired workers and those who decided don't follow in the migration. Now a day the established migrants and the ones of a productive age are feeding the return to Mexico. These returns are of the familiar type in their majority in the sense that the age of the groups are among parents and their sons. There is a second element: the dominance entrance to Mexico of new descendants who were born in The United States. When the migrant comes back with all his family they usually to remain to live in Mexico. The families, who return arrive to their parents' homes, as a consequence they cause the change of the structure and familiar dynamic.
