Abstract

Different voltages are present today in education and employment. One of the frequent debates includes the effect of inequalities in relation to access and ending the average level of education and the implications of this on the employment of young people. Taking up such issues, this paper addressed the major trends in education and youth work in Latin America. We worked through a comparative approach in statistical data bases of secondary sources used to reconstruct how the current landscape of both issues. Trends indicate that along with the variables recognized social sector and gender warn other traits that give to the existence of complex scenarios for much of the young population sector. These situations result in latent challenges in education and work, understanding equal opportunities as a goal to reach for all the young people in our latitudes.
