Abstract

This study analizes the conditions and sexual behavior of the young people between 15-24 years of age in 36 municipalities by degrees of social marginalization in Chiapas. A descriptive analysis was conducted from the "Survey for de diagnosis of socioeconomic needs in Chiapas"(Nazar and Salvatierra, 2009). This survey obtained information from 99.621 households in these municipalities. The schedule included 27 questions about youth and married life in order to know the situation of the young people regarding the occurrence of early pregnancy, parenting and taking life partner.
