This research aims to identify the efficiency with respect to the evaluation of the generation, diffusion and impact of knowledge, and innovation in a group of 33 countries using the Dynamic Network DEA. The proposed hypothesis states that institutions, human capital, and infrastructure generate the sophistication of the market and business, which in turn generate: products of knowledge and technology, creation, impact, and diffusion of knowledge. The results suggest that the most efficient country is Ireland. For the Mexican case it is possible to detect an efficiency gap when obtaining values close to 0.64
