Abstract

This article analyzes the concepts of business associativity and governance with emphasis in Protected Natural Areas (PA) dedicated to the provision of tourist services. Thus, the definition of business associativity and its possible contributions to economic development are presented. At the same time, the concept of governance is examined as element in the implementation of associative models. The methodology used is exploratory. The results obtained are the determination of the components that constitute the associative processes, as well as a conceptual framework that explains the importance of governance in the fulfillment of community objectives.
