Abstract

VIDAURRAZAGA ARANGUIZ, Tamara. Subjetividades sexo genéricas en mujeres militantes de organizaciones político-militares de izquierda en el Cono Sur. La ventana [online]. 2015, vol.5, n.41, pp.7-34. ISSN 1405-9436.

Women who fought in left political-military organizations during the ’60s and ’80s, in the Southern Cone, transited between at least two different sex-gender systems: one by the society in which they lived, and the prevailing one in the organizations they were militating, which differed from the hegemonic male one, by providing them with historically masculine spaces, and once likened to repeat certain traditional mandates regarding femininity.

Between these two sex-generic moral mandates, women had free and constraint spaces, in which they constructed their own subjectivities, within an armed political militancy that made them different from other women of their generation and from male militants.

Keywords : subjectivities; sex-gender system; female militancy; armed struggle; Southern Cone.
