This work exposes how the participating women grew and formed part of a context framed in socio-economic, cultural and symbolic conditions which led to the integration of themselves in the ideological processes of everyday life, giving way to the formation of the identity: the concept of “I am”, where they have lived as culturally fair and they have become women suffering from cervical cancer. Participants were 15 women aged between 36 and 48, who came in for cervical cancer. Significant aspects were the relationship with their parents, the quality and characteristics of their bonds and the place they occupied in the family.
