Abstract

IGLESIAS LESAGA, Esther. To Open New Footpaths for the Transit of Contemporary Economic History in the Encounter with Oral Sources. Desacatos [online]. 2013, n.43, pp.147-166. ISSN 2448-5144.

In this article we indicate the breaking moments in the conformation of epistemological construct from which history, economic history and the oral sources begin to define borders. Some methodological aspects of oral history are analyzed to put aside the validation of the oral testimony like so, and to set up a hierarchy in their use in different spaces and times which conforms the historical task. Then, the topics which integrate the underlying thing between memory, oral story and economic history are unfolded, on the one hand, the relations between economic history and historical investigation, and on the other, economic history and the oral source within the context of memory. In huge suppositions an important number of reflections take place to close stages and raise new scenes and clothes in and with which economic history has to move.

Keywords : economic history; oral source; oral story; microhistory; historical task; interdisciplines; borders.
