MATAS TERRON, Antonio; TOJAR HURTADO, Juan Carlos  and  SERRANO ANGULO, José. Educational Innovation: A Study of Differential Changes among Teachers at the University of Malaga. REDIE [online]. 2004, vol.6, n.1, pp.01-21. ISSN 1607-4041.

Educational innovation is a factor that has been highlighted in the last years as an element of development in classroom life. This research consisted of identifying possible differences between teachers who had operated an innovation project and those who had not, in different contexts. A questionnaire was given to a sample of 112 teachers of the University of Malaga, 29 of whom had innovation projects in operation. Results show significant differences between both groups in connection with the pupils, the rest of teachers, resources, use of help, as well as educational programming. Conclusions include the establishment of the innovative teacher profile, as well as some reflections on the importance of innovation and its role in the educational reforms that are currently taking place.
