Abstract

ARANCIBIA HERRERA, Marcelo Mauricio  and  BADIA GARGANTE, Antoni. Middle school Teachers' Conceptions about Teaching and Learning History with ICT. REDIE [online]. 2015, vol.17, n.2, pp.62-75. ISSN 1607-4041.

This article presents a research related to middle school teachers and their conceptions about teaching and learning history with CIT. We assume teacher's conceptions as an explicit and contextual knowledge of teaching theories and principles that characterize good teaching practices of History. The goal is to identify the dimensions and categories that typify teacher's conceptions. A qualitative methodology was applied through ten interviews to teachers and analyzing data with a phenomenographic methodology. Results show 3 dimensions, 12 categories and 35 subcategories, which characterize teachers' conceptions of teaching History.

Keywords : History teaching; learning and teaching; educational use of ICT.
