Abstract

With the emergence of Internet-based media and the expansion process of convergence and divergence, the discourses of politicians and citizens are part of the contemporary era in digital spaces. In this research, methodological tooling use of the mass-media socio-semiotic theory, of mediatization theory, of the conceptualizations of convergence and new media and contemporary hypermedia circulation theory. The corpus is formed by publications on Facebook and Twitter by the candidate for presidential reelection in 2011 in Argentina: Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Parallel to the insertion of the political in the television in the previous period, the interweaving of political discourse and social networks, has generated readings point to a trivialization a dissolution of the argumentative with the digitalization. Moreover, these theoretical positions tend to idealize the previous time in the history of the mediatization. On the contrary, this research will aim to show that on Twitter and Facebook circulate political discourses containing encapsulated sense logical arguments; and they articulate with the contents and logic of other media: TV primarily and no television audiovisual.
