Abstract
SOUZA, Paula Martins de. Semiotics issues of (inter)subjectivity. Tóp. Sem [online]. 2018, n.40, pp.115-136. ISSN 2594-0619.
In an attempt to study the subject in semiotics taking into account his personality features —that is, his states of mind and states of affairs altogether— one is driven towards an intersubjective approach, insofar as the genuine subjective aspects of the subjects materialized in texts never show up independently. Instead, the “reality” in which they take place seems to require some adaptation of their affective and rational dispositions. Aiming at some intersubjective aspects that come about in texts, this paper proposes to contrast the field of subject identification (subjective field) against the field of otherness (objective field or “textual reality”). For this purpose, a subject typology is introduced, composed of four different subjective dispositions and their resulting tendencies in the objective field, namely in contrast with otherness.
