In this paper, we develop a theoretical and methodological proposal, within the scope of discursive semiotics, for analyzing the narrative and discursive organization of intolerant and prejudicial discourses. The nature of this project lead to necessity of examining these discourses also within the scope of tensive semiotics. The most relevant theoretical questions to this study regard a syntax that operates sorting and mixing in the dimension of the extent. These matters are:

- the aspectual states of sorting and mixing operations;

- attitudinal appreciation of the resulting conjunctions and disjunctions;

- the extreme limits of sorting and mixing, in which occur the most violent forms of intolerance and loss of meaning;

- the excessive or insufficient character of the conjunction and disjunction in these discourses.
