Abstract
MIRANDE, María Eduarda. Raul Dorra and the Subject of Writing. Tóp. Sem [online]. 2024, n.51, pp.11-29. Epub Dec 08, 2023. ISSN 2594-0619.
An interest for the study of writing has accompanied Raúl Dorra throughout his theoretical work. Since his beginnings, he has been cultivating it to the rhythm of the vertiginous historical, cultural, and technological changes that impacted the theories on language and sign and in the field of human communication. Dorra studies the history of writing, its impact on the verbal and social order, its implications for the mental order, the forms of perception, memory, and human subjectivity; he also examines its artistic dimension and its symbolic values, and towards the end of his career he reflects on its contemporary readjustments. The purpose of this work is to offer a theoretical panorama of Dorrean studies on the subject of writing, paying attention to its different stages and projections.
