Abstract
MENKE, Christoph. On the border of Right. Hannah Arendt’s revision of Eichmann’s process. Sig. Fil [online]. 2015, vol.17, n.33, pp.100-123. ISSN 1665-1324.
Arendt’s revision process is not only about the propriety or impropriety of the judgement occurred in Jerusalem, but about Right in general towards this actions; it is about no less than a reflection, more precisely: a self-reflection of Right, a reflection on Right and its borders or limits, but within Right. By conducting the revision of the process in Jerusalem up to this radical self-reflection of Right, Arendt consequently puts herself not only, as it seemed at first, in the place of the court, but above the highest court. Above the highest court but within Right: this is the paradoxical position from which Arendt’s book is written.
