Abstract

CASTELLANOS SANCHEZ, Almudena  and  MARTINEZ DE LA MUELA, Alicia. Teamwork with Google Drive in the online university. Innov. educ. (Méx. DF) [online]. 2013, vol.13, n.63, pp.75-94. ISSN 1665-2673.

The research presented is based on the need to personalize online higher education, not only taking into account the individuality of each person, but also the human need to remain open to others. In this respect, we designed a collaborative activity by means of the tool Google Drive with which the students worked together. This is an experimental study for which we designed a digital questionnaire applied to 94 students of the grade in Infantile Teaching. The results demonstrate the elevated number of women over 30 years old that participated in the experience as well as the fact that Google Drive is an unknown tool, easy to handle, that allows the creation of workgroups online that can work in real time at a distance, and its pedagogic usefulness in educational contexts.

Keywords : Collaborative work; Web 2.0; Google Drive; educational technology; e-learning.
