In this paper, we investigate the effects produced by the defects of the thin film of the electro-optical polymer which are formed at the stage of film preparation. We observed that the conductivity and the photoconductivity is strongly affected by these defects. With coal ribbon electrodes, the breakdown field for the film could be improved significantly.
