Abstract

The purpose of this work was to polymerize aniline using hematin as biomimetic catalyzer in acid medium using acetic acid as solvent, this allowed us to make the polyaniline synthesis without templates, which make difficult to obtain good electrochemical properties in the final product. The FTIR and UV-Vis spectrums and TGA analysis showed that the synthesized polymer using this technique, shows good structural characteristics, high yield (70%) and good thermal behavior.
