Abstract
FLORES-DESIRENA, B. and PEREZ-RODRIGUEZ, F.. Propiedades ópticas de magnetoexcitones en un pozo cuántico doble cerca de la superficie. Superf. vacío [online]. 2006, vol.19, n.4, pp.5-9. ISSN 1665-3521.
In this work, we present a theoretical study of the excitonic optical properties for a symmetric double quantum well either near the sample surface or in the bulk, considering that the heterostructure is subjected to a strong magnetic field. The study of the optical response is investigated within the framework of Stahl's real-space density-matrix approach, which takes into account the coupling between the coherent electron-hole interband amplitude and the incident electromagnetic wave. Our results for the optical absorption spectra of a symmetric double quantum well in the bulk agree with those calculated in the work[1], whereas the reflectivity spectra of the near-surface heterostructure show the well-known shift to the blue[2-4]. Concretely, we present the evolution of the reflectivity and absorption spectra as function of the well widths when the double quantum well is in the bulk and near-surface.
