Abstract
ISSN 1665-3521.
Heats isosteric of light hydrocarbons (alkanes) adsorption on microporous substrates (clinoptilolite, erionite zeolites and SiO2) was studied by the inverse gas chromatography method at zero coverage. The substrates were characterized by XR diffraction, surface area measurement, and chemical analysis. Alkanes adsorption (n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane and nnonane) was investigated in the temperature range 423-623 K, using a conductivity thermal detector, and helium as a carrier gas. The heat of adsorption for alkanes were calculated from the retention data through Clausius-Clapeyron equation. From these results the activated effect showed by ERIN zeolite is relevant.
