Abstract
CARBAJAL-DE LA TORRE, G. et al. Resistencia a la corrosión de películas cerámicas delgadas. Superf. vacío [online]. 2011, vol.24, n.4, pp.121-125. ISSN 1665-3521.
In this work has proposed the synthesis and characterization of hybrid ceramic thin films produced by the base of polymethilmetacrylate (PMMA) and zirconium oxide (ZrO2), and titanium oxide (TiO2) for applications to corrosion protection. The synthesis of the inorganic phase was carried out by the alcoxide solgel method and polymerization of the organic phase was made by free radicals. According to the goals, a transparent and continuous film was obtained, which improved a chemical and physics barrier against the corrosive environment. For the characterization of this thin film and their evaluation the electrochemical techniques and Scanning Electron Microscopy were used.
Keywords : Sol-gel; Ceramic thin film; Corrosion; Metallic oxides and lineal polarization.
